Faith Hamlin, my agent, has done some light editing of my book proposal. I’m going through it and I’m very happy with the changes.

She has a long list of book editors she plans to send it to and she wants me to meet with them mid-November.

I hope I get a good deal before the start of the holiday season. And if I do — no, make that when I do — I will be one busy woman: working full time, freelancing, teaching journalism at NYU two evenings a week (and editing all of their stories!) and working on this book.

But if I get a nice advance — ((dream big!)) — I will hire an assistant.
