I bumped into your blog recently and found it to be fun and informative.
I live in Florida now. My company builds bilingual websites. More and more small businesses (our customers) realize how important it is to reach out to the Latin community, especially since more than 42% of Hispanics research products online before buying anything.
A lot has been written recently about how Hispanic consumers are pretty tech savvy–and are more apt to buy big expensive electronic items than non-Hispanics–even in a down economy. And also that Hispanic buying power is on the rise, and is expected to hit $1 trillion by 2011.
What’s your take on this? If you’ve written anything about this subject, I’d love to read it.
